Tasmania's lead cycle advocacy organisation, Bicycle Tasmania has a regular list of rides, from day rides to extended tours, with a particular focus on family-friendly rides. Hobart Walking Club Rides
Run regular weekly bike rides on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Membership is open to people aged 16 years or over and anyone is welcome to participate in a ride before deciding to join the club.

Informal rides departing the Dome Cafe, King St Sandy Bay
Informal rides departing the Dome Restaurant, King St Sandy Bay. Meet at 6.00am on Tuesday or Thursday mornings for a ride out to South Granton and return to the Dome Restaurant - in all approx 40 kms. Its all weather permitting and its not super fast (avg 25 kms p/h), and you know what the best part is ... the coffee and chat at the end. Ken Self Ride Cycle Centre rides
Rides depart from the shop at 124 Elizabeth St, Hobart. It's a great introduction to riding in a bunch and improving your riding skills in a sociable atmostphere.

Wednesday night at 6pm - A mostly mens riding group that travels a bit faster.
