Fairway Rise pathway
Oct 2015. Council has completed an extension of the path alongside the Fairway Rise Retirement Village on the northern side of the Tasman Hwy to connect to Flagstaff Gully Road. The pathway provides access to the Clarence Mountain Bike Park from Gordons Hill Rd as well as improved access to Rosny Park for local residents.
Oct 2012. As part of the Fairway Rise Retirement Village a 1.8m wide shared use pathway is being constructed between Gordans Hill Road and the eastern boundary of the retirement village. The pathway will improve walking and cycling access to Rosny Park for residents on the north side of the Tasman Hwy as well as provide a route to the Clarence Mountain Bike Park. Disappointingly the path is 200mm below the minimum width for a multi-user pathway, especially considering it is likely to have a high level of use by residents from the adjacent retirement village who will use the pathway to walk or ride mobility scooters to the services and shops at Rosny Park.
